Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams, collect specimens, and perform basic vitals, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG. Ensure exams are accurate and on time while maintaining a safe, professional environment for applicants, clients, and staff.

The role includes documenting cases, traveling up to 25 miles, and mentoring new employees. Requires phlebotomy certification or relevant training and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience; pediatric/geriatric patient experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Conduct in-center and mobile exams including vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Prepare documentation and paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hrs on weekdays and within 48 hrs on weekends.
