Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams and in-center/mobile visits. The role includes phlebotomy, specimen collection, vitals, and pre-employment screenings, with accurate documentation and portal updates.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely specimen transport, maintaining logs, and providing exceptional client service. The position requires travel, adherence to SOPs, and mentoring new staff when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience. Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients is a plus.
• Prefer urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Conduct in center exams and mobile exams, including vitals, histories, venipuncture, urine collection and EKG; may include drug screenings.
• Complete application packets and paperwork accurately; label, centrifuge and split specimens as required.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours on weekends.
• Transport specimens safely to the indicated lab; maintain records of each specimen collected.
• Submit original paperwork to destination; provide customer service to clients.
• Follow Examiner's Manual and maintain phlebotomy logs; keep error rate at or below 3%.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and distribution; help implement SOPs and mentor new staff.
