Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Mobile Examiner in Johnson City, Kansas to cover field exams, perform venipuncture, vitals, EKGs, and pre-employment screenings, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion.

Under supervision of Branch Manager, mentor new staff, maintain documentation, adhere to safety and QA, and travel up to 25 miles with possible weekend/overtime work. Requires phlebotomy certification and 1 year experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience is required.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures and perform venipuncture.
• Conduct in-center and mobile exams, including vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG; collect specimens for pre-employment screenings.
• Complete application packets and paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order; transport to lab as indicated.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
• Follow Examiner's Manual and maintain phlebotomy logs; ensure safety and QA compliance.
