Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to cover field exams from Alabama, performing vital tasks such as phlebotomy, EKG, urine collection, and specimen handling with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You will manage paperwork, maintain records, and ensure proper packaging and shipping of specimens. A high school diploma and phlebotomy or medical assistant certification are preferred; valid driver license and weekend availability are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Perform in-center and mobile exams including venipuncture, vitals, urine collection and EKG.
• Handle paperwork and labeling, and upload cases within required timeframes.
• Transport specimens safely and maintain chain of custody and records.
• Adhere to manuals and SOPs; monitor error rates and document attendance.
