Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to perform field and in-center phlebotomy, including specimen collection, vitals, and EKG. You will ensure timely, accurate collections and maintain detailed records while delivering excellent client service.

The role requires at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant acceptable. Occasional travel within a 25 mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience; pediatric/geriatric experience a plus.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in center and mobile exams, including vitals, venipuncture, urine collection and EKG.
• Completes application packets and paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hrs on weekdays and 48 hrs on weekends.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to lab as indicated.
• Maintain required phlebotomy logs and transport records.
• Provide customer service to clients and adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Wear company ID and maintain professional grooming as per policy.
