Job summary

Madison Core Laboratories in Alabama seeks an experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to perform safe, accurate blood collection across multiple service locations. Travel between Madison, Decatur, Athens and surrounding areas is required, with a flexible schedule and shifts around 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The role emphasizes patient care, strict labeling and transport of specimens, adherence to health and safety standards, and reliable time management to complete mobile routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; valid MVR required.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect blood and other specimens.
• Verify patient identity and information.
• Label, handle, and transport specimens properly.
• Maintain safety and infection-control standards while traveling.
• Provide courteous, compassionate patient service.
• Manage routes and travel between locations efficiently.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
