About the Job:

Opportunity awaits if you're interested in working for yourself as an independent contractor. Mobile Wellness Solutions is looking for a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist.

Job Details:

  1. The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history.
  2. The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
  3. Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
  4. Bi-Weekly Pay.
  5. Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
  2. Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
  3. Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
  4. Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
  5. Accurately labeling all samples.
  6. Maintaining accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Proven experienced phlebotomist.
  2. Valid driver's license.
  3. Valid Auto Insurance.
  4. Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  5. Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
  6. Detail-oriented with sound organizational skills.
  7. Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
  8. Reliable transportation is a must.
  9. Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
