Job summary

Getlabs seeks a PRN Mobile Phlebotomist to join a high-growth startup focused on delivering diagnostics at patients' homes or offices. You will visit patients, perform blood collection with standard procedures, and ensure specimens are processed accurately while maintaining excellent patient interactions.

The role requires phlebotomy certification and ~1 year of experience, with preferred mobile phlebotomy background. Early start times (as early as 5am) and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy preferred).
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to drive in the dark - early 5am starts.
• Ability to physically access patients including kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office, drive to and from appointments in your own vehicle, process specimens with a centrifuge.
• Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and processing of specimens with high accuracy.
• Adaptability in a rapid high-growth environment.
• Maintain close communication with operations and patient experience teams during business hours.
• As PRN, confirm availability to your leader each Friday for the upcoming week, schedule in advance where possible.
• Based on submitted availability, leader schedules shifts within that availability.
• Minimum of three days per week availability during 5am–1pm, up to 29 hours per week.
