Join to apply for the Mobile Phlebotomist (MAKO) role at Mako Medical.

Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes to service patients. Treat all customers in a courteous manner. Ensure all urine and oral fluid specimens and phlebotomy specimens are collected accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include:

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Complete requisitions accurately.
• Process and package specimens for transport; maintain required records and documentation.
• Comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures, including manuals and safety guidelines.
• Maintain collection logs and submit accurate expense forms if applicable.
• Adhere to grooming, dress code, and lab coat policies, maintaining a neat appearance.
• Report on time and follow attendance guidelines.
• Answer calls politely, incorporating the company name and providing helpful information.
• Keep information confidential and communicate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area, dispose of biohazard waste properly, and assist with inventories and supply stocking.
• Perform clerical duties, answer phones, and participate in team projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
