Job summary

TridentCare in Connecticut is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform clinical pre-analytical lab services at client facilities, primarily nursing homes, in CT and parts of Massachusetts.

You will drive routes, identify patients, collect, label and transport specimens, and maintain compliance with Universal Precautions and safety policies while ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a vehicle in good working condition.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques.
• Excellent communication and interaction with diverse populations.
• Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities and collect samples at patient bedside.
• Identify patients and collect, label, and deliver specimens.
• Maintain proper specimen handling and documentation.
• Monitor supplies and report low stock.
• Adhere to universal precautions and safety policies.
