Job summary

APPS is recruiting a Mobile Phlebotomist in Suffolk, VA for flexible independent-contractor work. You will travel to applicants' homes to perform insurance medical exams, collect specimens, and document findings. This role offers part-time/PRN hours and compensation per completed case.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, strong venipuncture skills, and reliable transportation. Work independently while representing a national paramedical organization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong venipuncture skills.
• Professional and comfortable interacting with patients in their homes or other locations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone and access to required mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Travel to applicants' homes or other approved locations to perform insurance medical exams.
• Collect blood and urine specimens.
• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and other required measurements.
• Complete health histories and accurately document examination information.
• Maintain required supplies and equipment.
• Follow all applicable safety, privacy and specimen-handling procedures.
