Job summary

APPS Paramedical Services seeks a dependable Mobile Phlebotomist to conduct insurance examinations in applicants’ homes and other local settings. You will collect specimens, record examination information, and provide respectful, attentive patient service.

This role suits someone who can work independently while following established procedures. Responsibilities include mobile venipuncture, EKGs, and Life Insurance Medical Exams, with data entry into EMR/EHR and careful specimen handling for

Qualifications

Phlebotomy experience with specimen collection and lab procedures.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology; clinical lab experience helpful.
Strong patient service and customer service skills; respectful with all ages.
Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage equipment and supplies, including occasional heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Perform mobile venipuncture and blood sampling, collecting, labeling, and handling specimens using proper techniques.
Conduct EKGs.
Perform Life Insurance Medical Exams and Clinical Trial specimen collections.
Obtain vital signs and enter data in EMR/EHR; ensure accurate data entry.
Explain examination steps using clear language and medical terminology appropriate to the patient.
Follow laboratory procedures to maintain specimen integrity and prepare materials for transport.
Contribute to reliable laboratory review through accurate collection and patient care.
