Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team serving patients throughout Glasgow, KY. You will visit patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, performing blood collection with venipuncture and capillary methods while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a phlebotomy certification preferred with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and auto insurance; age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to self-direct and work independently in flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Glasgow, KY.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff.
