Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist for in-center and mobile collections. You will perform venipunctures, EKGs, urine collections, and basic vitals while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of every specimen.

Role requires high school diploma and at least 1 year phlebotomy experience; a minimum of 100 documented blood draws is expected. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with flexible hours and local travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens per established procedures and conducts in-center and mobile exams.
• Take vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection and EKG; collect for drug screenings.
• Complete application packets and paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required; upload cases within 24–48 hours.
• Transport specimens safely to the lab and maintain records of daily collections.
• Provide customer service to clients and adheres to SOPs and manuals.
• Maintain grooming, badges, attendance, and professional behavior; communicate clearly with customers and staff.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and distribution of information; support SOP implementation.
• Work flexible hours and travel up to 25 miles; perform additional duties as assigned.
