Job summary

Diagnostic Support Services is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to travel to patients' homes for blood collection and specimen handling. You will perform venipunctures, verify identities, and maintain proper documentation with a strong focus on excellent patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, an accredited phlebotomy program, and a valid certification. Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation, with 2+ years in phlebotomy, preferably mobile.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited phlebotomy training.
• Current Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP/NPA or equivalent).
• Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle.
• Two years or more phlebotomy experience, preferably mobile/home care.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and capillary draws in patients' homes.
• Verify patient identity and complete consent forms accurately.
• Label, package, and transport specimens to FedEx drop-off per safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, well-equipped mobile phlebotomy unit.
• Record patient information in EHR or paper records.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions/concerns.
• Travel to multiple locations and manage appointments efficiently.
