A mobile health services provider is seeking a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist in Portland, Indiana. This role requires traveling to patients to obtain vital samples and maintain records. Responsibilities include drawing blood, obtaining medical histories, and ensuring patient safety. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong communication skills and must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Pay is per appointment with some travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient locations to obtain samples.
• Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Label samples accurately and maintain patient records.
• Label all samples accurately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document issues affecting results.
• Print, scan, and upload completed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
• Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
• Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
• Accurately labeling all samples.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experienced phlebotomist.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
• Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
• Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
