Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy in Durham, NC is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to split time between the physical pharmacy and driving to remote Kiosk locations. You will assist pharmacists, refill kiosks, and ensure accurate dispensing while maintaining safety and compliance.

Daily tasks include packing and shipping prescriptions, coordinating inventory, and supporting packaging workflows. The role requires flexibility for shifts outside normal hours and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to Kiosk locations using company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work daily with leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders.
• Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items.
• Pack and ship completed orders, including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser and shipping boxes.
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time.
• Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery.
• Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours.
