Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution.
• Collect information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals.
• Measure, mix, and label medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure accurate prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries.
• Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals.

PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is hiring a Mobile Pharmacy Technician in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role is part of an on‑site pharmacy team dedicated to serving long‑term care and senior living clients in a non‑retail environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: alternating weekends (every other weekend)

Qualifications

Education/Experience

License / Certification

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Travel Requirements

• Percentage of travel: 25–75%
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel
• Ability to travel 60–70% of the time

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, typing, and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 11–20 lbs.
