Job summary

A mobile medical services provider is seeking an experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support urologists in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role involves administering IV sedation, performing nursing assessments, and providing patient education during Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedures. Candidates should have a current RN license, along with ACLS and BLS certifications, and at least five years in acute care nursing. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work collaboratively in a specialized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing and conscious sedation administration experience.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist with light equipment handling and travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV sedation under supervision in accordance with state regulations.
• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure nursing assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs and post-procedure outcomes.
• Ensure all documentation meets facility and company standards.
