Job summary

Piedmont Stone Center, PLLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the lithotripsy team. You will provide pre-operative, intra-procedural sedation, and post-operative care during ESWL, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, education for patients and families, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Current license by the state of North Carolina or a nurse compact participating state as an RN.
• Minimum of one year experience in ambulatory surgery or critical care; sedation experience preferred.
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Proficient with electronic health records.
• Knowledge of urology patient care desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for lithotripsy service; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physician and staff to coordinate care and educate patients and families.
• Provide high-quality pre-operative, intra-procedural sedation, and post-operative care during ESWL procedures.
• Ensure quality of care and exceptional patient outcomes.
