Corsica River Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to join our Mobile Treatment Team. You will engage with clients in recovery, model positive behaviors, and advocate for access to resources while traveling within the service area. A valid drivers license and WRAP familiarity are important.

Qualifications

• Peer Support Specialist certification is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience or understanding of WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with clients to facilitate supportive relationships.
• Assist with teaching skills to support recovery and achievement of goals.
• Model behaviors conducive to recovery and successful goal achievement.
• Support and advocate for clients within the Mobile Treatment Team and with other service providers.
• Travel within the assigned area to provide community-based services.
• Meet agency productivity measures for the position.
• Assist clients to create a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
• Document services delivered according to agency policy and accreditation standards.
