Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days. Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients in a dental setting, adapting to different clinical environments and collaborating with dental teams.

The role emphasizes deep sedation and general anesthesia for patients with dental anxiety or special needs, with flexible part-time and independent contractor opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• Certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, and others as appropriate.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including IV deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
• Work collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with disabilities.
