Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days. You will deliver specialized anesthesia services in a dental setting, adapting to varying clinical environments and patient needs.

Responsibilities include airway management and IV deep sedation or general anesthesia for children with dental anxiety or special needs, collaborating with dental teams to ensure safe, comfortable experiences for young patients.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including IV deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a pediatric dentist.
• Work alongside pediatric dentists, optimizing patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.
