Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is seeking a travel-based sonographer to perform echocardiograms at patient homes and clinics. You will transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment, obtain informed cooperation, and conduct imaging per protocol for adult and pediatric patients.

The role requires RDCS/RCS certification, 3+ years of experience, and BLS. You will travel locally/regionally, ensuring patient safety and accurate reporting while upholding ASE standards.

Qualifications

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in adult and pediatric populations.
• BLS certification required.

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI .
• Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
• Time management and organizational skills
