Job summary

SGT Private Security, Inc. in the Bay Area seeks Flex Officers for a supervisor-training track. You will perform mobile vehicle patrols in a marked security vehicle, supporting multiple sites from Newark to various Bay Area locations.

Advancement to supervisor and eventual management is a core path. Expect 40+ hours weekly with overnight shifts, a consistent days-off pattern, and strong pay growth including annual bonuses plus a birthday Amazon gift card.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid BSIS Guard Card and a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED; 21+ years old.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Previous security-related work experience preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to stay levelheaded in stressful situations.
• Willingness to work overnight grave shifts and varying schedules.
• Proficiency in basic security techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive between properties in a marked security vehicle.
• Post checks for well-being and uniform inspections.
• Train officers on post orders and SOPs.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports using a smartphone.
• Meet with clients to discuss security needs.
• Escalate emergencies to law enforcement when needed.
• Assist clients and visitors with questions or concerns.
