Job summary
MediPro Direct is seeking experienced phlebotomists to perform mobile life insurance exams across the Grand Junction area. This independent contractor role offers per diem work with flexible scheduling and travel within the coverage area.
Responsibilities include collecting blood/urine samples, vital signs, LTC assessments when needed, and accurate documentation. Examiners must own or access essential equipment and maintain reliable transportation for mobile assignments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
- Current phlebotomy or medical assistant certification.
- Ability to work independently in mobile setting.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed medical history interviews.
- Obtain blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and other measurements.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood/urine specimens.
- Centrifuge blood specimens prior to shipment.
- Complete LTC assessments when required.
- Complete all required insurance exam forms accurately.
- Prepare and package specimens for shipment to the laboratory.
- Perform EKGs when ordered if equipped.
- Review orders and case-specific requirements.
- Submit documentation upon completion of assignments.
