Job summary

Options for Southern Oregon seeks a Mobile Outreach Therapist, a master’s level mental health professional serving in the community to initiate services, build rapport, and facilitate entry into treatment. The role emphasizes outreach with behavioral health needs and collaboration with partners to engage clients.

Responsibilities include screenings, care plans, and coordination; strong documentation and EHR use; and ensuring access to housing, employment, and medical coverage.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a behavioral science is required.
  • Experience working with clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Must register as a CADC-R within 30 days of hire; CADC I or II preferred.
  • Must be a QMHP on the MHACBO registry or eligible to register with MHACBO.
  • Must be licensed in Oregon (LMFT, LCSW, LPC or psychologist) or licensure intern status.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates services in the community by completing screenings, assessments and service plans.
  • Uses collaborative documentation to ensure client voice is captured and paperwork is timely.
  • Maintains understanding of community resources and behavioral health programs.
  • Works independently in the community and represents the agency professionally.
  • Provides clinical direction to QMHA staff and collaborates with community resources.
