Qualifications

• Florida Optometry License required.
• Must be flexible to commute throughout the greater Sarasota area.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations: check VA’s, binocular vision, IOP, pupils, and refraction; prescribe appropriate correction and assess ocular health.
• Prescribe vision devices and test patients on applicable equipment to determine suitable correction; instruct proper use.
• Document patient diagnosis accurately in internal systems.
