Eyetastic Services, LLC is seeking a Mobile Optometric Assistant to support optometrists across Long Island nursing homes. You will update rosters, prepare exam charts, and assist during examinations while traveling between sites.

A strong focus on service, organization, and resident well-being drives this role. You will handle eyeglass fitting and repairs, manage fundus image submissions, and collaborate closely with nursing staff.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years as optometric technician or in a similar role.
• Degree in medical assisting preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with medical office management systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Update the daily roster and prepare Optometry Exam charts for each resident.
• Communicate and document schedule changes with nursing staff.
• Measure, fit, and repair eyeglasses for residents.
• Assist the Optometrist during clinical examinations.
• Capture fundus images and submit for review by the Optometrist.
• Organize and electronically submit all essential documents.
• Respond to inquiries from office staff and show teamwork.
