Job summary

Aegis Home Health and Hospice is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for a full‑time role based in the Lincoln Metropolitan Area. You will perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive care plans in home and facility settings.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care, focusing on advanced illness management and patient comfort. Nebraska NP licensure and prescriptive authority are valued assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive patient care skills including diagnosis, treatment planning, and assessment.
• Expertise in advanced illness management, palliative care, and post-acute care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and provide care with compassion and respect for diverse patient populations.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska or the ability to obtain one.
• Advanced practice nursing certification and prescriptive authority preferred.
• Experience in home healthcare or hospice care is a plus.
