West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our field-based wound care team. This role involves traveling to patient homes to deliver hands-on clinical support under the direction of our supervising providers.

You will scribe for physicians, assist with visits, manage supplies, and ensure infection control and patient privacy standards are maintained in a mobile setting.

Formación

• Valid Medical Assistant (MA) Certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical or medical experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or field-based roles a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform delegated clinical tasks in a field-based setting.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist providers during visits.
• Scribe for physicians and document clinical findings accurately.
• Monitor patient progress with chart checks.
• Coordinate and assist with patient scheduling and visits.
• Make initial assessment calls with new patients.
• Order and manage medical supplies and equipment inventory.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy standards.
• Communicate with providers, nurses, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
