Job summary

360Care seeks a traveling healthcare assistant to support physicians across long term care facilities. The role involves assisting with audiology, optometry, podiatry care, and behavioral health, while maintaining EMRs and managing supplies.

You will travel within a 2-hour radius, with mileage reimbursement and drive time pay. Ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and follow HIPAA guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record and car insurance.
• Must have completed and passed a two-step Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test.
• Good computer skills required.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow directions and listen to needs of patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Completes chart prep on scheduled patients prior to every visit.
• Verifies and maintains current clinical records, charts and medical history through EMR during patient visits.
• Maintains integrity of all documentation.
• Completes end of visit reports on the day of visit and shares with management.
• Provides daily feedback and works with branch office to optimize schedule.
• Coordinate and maintain patient flow during facility visits.
• Balance and generate daily production reports for manager.
• Post charges to the appropriate provider in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for all care and cleaning of medical equipment after each visit.
• Audit stock and manage medical supplies inventory.
• Ensure medical equipment is working by performing preventive maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality; comply with HIPAA/OSHA/PHI guidelines.
• Able to multitask and deliver excellent customer service.
