Job summary

APPS Paramedical in Western Washington seeks Mobile Medical Assistants/Phlebotomists to perform at-home or in-office exams for insurance underwriting. You will collect blood, vital signs, histories, and EKGs on a mobile basis, often with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have phlebotomy experience, be reliable drivers, comfortable with tablets, and adhere to privacy and safety policies. Flexible scheduling, with exams offered seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
• Familiarity with tablets/computers.
• Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
• EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile medical exams at client homes or offices.
• Draw blood and record medical histories, vital signs, and EKGs.
• Collect saliva samples and complete required paperwork with accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with safety and confidentiality policies.
• Exams may last 15 minutes to just over an hour.
