Job summary

Team Elmer's is seeking a full-time mobile mechanic for our White Cloud, Michigan plant to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair and inspect trucks and heavy construction equipment. Work will occur in the field and in the shop, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnosing faults, repairing components, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• CDL A required and a clean driving record.
• 3+ years as a mechanic, preferably mobile.
• Welding experience; certifications welcome but not required.
• Proficiency with Maintenance Manager Plus and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs and replacements.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Read manuals, blueprints and technical drawings to guide maintenance.
• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects and ensure proper performance.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed on site.
