Job summary

Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a Mobile Marine Evaluation Technician to travel Florida-wide inspecting boats for consignment, trade, or direct purchase and to perform engine diagnostics, sea trials, and reporting. You will represent the company independently on customer sites while supporting service and inventory teams.

The role involves field work, documentation, and occasional mobile repairs at Bradenton and other Florida dealerships, with opportunities for growth and certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional marine technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with outboard engines and marine electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to boat owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site boat evaluations for consignment, trade, or direct purchase.
• Conduct engine diagnostics, sea trials, and mechanical inspections.
• Prepare inspection reports with repair recommendations.
• Communicate findings to Service, Inventory, and Consignment teams.
• Assist with mobile repairs and light reconditioning when possible.
