A prominent medical institution in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate mobile mammography services. Responsibilities include patient education, performing high-quality breast imaging exams, and ensuring compliance with procedural standards. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, ARRT registration, and a valid Arkansas Radiology license, along with a commitment to serving underserved communities. This role involves travel with overnight stays.

The UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (WPRCI) mobile mammography program has been in place for more than 10 years. WPRCI is committed to decreasing breast cancer-related illness, disability and death in Arkansas through screening and early detection. The focus of the program is on improving cancer screenings and education around the state with particular attention to our rural underserved counties. This position requires travel with multiple overnight stays each month. Sometimes trip schedules include departures/arrivals after hours or on weekends, e.g., departure on a Sunday afternoon or return on a Friday evening. The position also requires obtaining a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in order to drive the van as needed.
