Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms under a radiologist's direction, assist with interventional breast procedures and ultrasound, and ensure accurate Epic documentation.

Required are a post high school diploma or certificate, ARRT licenses including Mammography, and BLS. Prior breast imaging experience is preferred. Denver Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Post high school diploma or certificate program required.
• 1 year of professional work experience in performing breast screening and diagnostic procedures preferred.
• Licenses: BLS/CPR, RTR-RT Radiography, RTM-RT Mammography, Colorado Provisional Mammography License.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms following appropriate assessment by clinicians.
• Performs breast ultrasound procedures in a timely manner according to physicians' order, established protocols, and/or radiologist direction.
• Assists radiologists during interventional procedures (breast biopsies, needle localizations) and post-procedural patient care.
• Maintains records of examinations in Epic and performs QC/QA daily on digital equipment.
• Assembles requisitions and materials for radiologists’ review within 30 minutes of exam completion.
