Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a Mammographer to join our team. You will work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local communities with a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization.

New to mammography? We offer paid initial training to start in this rewarding specialty, with a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or on-call. Join SMS ONETEAM and grow with a trusted imaging partner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registered with ARRT or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures.
• Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography; willing to train.
• Ability to drive or experience driving a 26’ straight truck; willing to train.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Must conduct self in a responsible, professional manner.
• Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• CDL not required; possess valid Class D Driver’s License.
• Must have acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background, urine drug screen, and physical.
• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations in the Twin Cities metro area.
• Work on a 26’ straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit with Hologic 3D system.
• Drive the mobile unit between screening locations.
