Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mobile Fleet Maintenance Mechanic in Indianapolis, IN. You will travel to client sites with a company vehicle to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities include tire work, oil changes, brake inspections, and DOT/safety checks, while building strong customer relationships and documenting work orders. The role offers a strong commission structure and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on commercial trucks or fleet vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in the field.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Customer-focused attitude and good communication skills.

• Build strong customer relationships while providing outstanding service.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.

• Guaranteed Base Rate: $30 - $45/Hour DOE
• PLUS 35% Labor Sales Commission

What You'll Do

As a Mobile Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, You Will

• Travel to customer fleet locations using a company-provided service vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles

What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
