Job summary

Goodyear in Haubstadt, IN is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to support on-road tire centers with preventative maintenance and tire services for commercial trucks. You will ensure safety and quality while performing wheel end work, brake checks, and air system maintenance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, on-road service, and hands-on mechanical tasks, with a 12pm–10pm shift and flexible 4/10’s or 5/8’s options.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and meet CDL requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles including wheel end work, brakes, and air systems.
• Provide tire services such as mounting, dismounting, and repairs.
• Uphold safety and liability policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and deadlines.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting and maneuvering heavy tires and wheels.

Shift: 12pm to 10pm – flexible second shift range 4/10's or 5/8's available!

Location: 12706 Access 1250 South (I‑64 , Exit 25B), Haubstadt IN

Starting pay – Guaranteed Base Rate: $25-30 Hourly

About the Role: What will you do?

• Technical Expertise: Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on various areas such as wheel end work, brakes, air systems, and more.
• Tire Service: Provide specialized tire services, including mounting, dismounting, and repairs.
• Safety: Uphold safety and liability policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Work Together: Collaborate as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
• Physical: Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
