Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across multiple commercial properties, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep. A valid driver’s license is required to travel between sites using company or personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

The role entails routine and emergency maintenance, inspections, and accurate record-keeping while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational or on‑the‑job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• May be the only maintenance staff on duty; may require overtime, shift work or on-call duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, and chillers.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance across assigned properties.
• Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Travel between multiple sites using a company-provided vehicle or personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical, vocational or on‑the‑job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record with periodic checks
• Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
• May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or stand‑by on‑call duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
