Job summary

Colliers Facility Solutions is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to perform and assist with daily operations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and base building systems in the Atlanta metro area.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of building trade experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. EPA HVAC certification is a plus. This role requires on-site work and strong customer service skills.

• Minimum 5+ years of building-related experience in maintenance or trades.
• EPA certification is preferred for HVAC-related work.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance are required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC and base building systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and technicians; respond to emergencies and tenant requests.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with codes and sustainability standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Our nimble, decentralized culture can provide you with a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and quickly gain experience to accelerate your career.GENERAL SCOPE:The** Mobile Maintenance Technician **performs and/or assists with the daily operations, maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and base building systems as part of mobile maintenance team supporting property assets in the Atlanta Metro area.Key Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance requirements of buildings such as repairs to faucets, urinals, toilets, sinks and system pipingPerform electrical duties such as changing lights, ballasts, wall outlets, switches and lighting tombstonesPerform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, oiling motors, replacing light fixtures, inspecting and adjusting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning shafts, and annual inspections as directed by manufacturersDevelop and maintain effective building specific maintenance proceduresCoordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and techniciansRespond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concernsComply with all applicable codes, regulations and directives related to building operations, safe work habits and promotion of sustainabilityShovel snow from sidewalks and entrance of building as requiredPerform necessary daily safety inspections to include taking status readings on mechanical equipmentRespond to all tenants inquires and complaints, verify problems and take necessary corrective actionOther duties as assignedRequirements:Must be legally able to work in United StatesHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 5+ years of building-related trade experienceProven technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: repair of sealed refrigeration HVAC systems, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, or plumbingCurrent Universal CFC certification a plusState Issued Electrical and/or HVAC Licensed not required, but highly valuedMust possess and maintain a valid State of Georgia driver’s license and proof of insuranceAbility to Drive/Operate company vehicles to and from various propertiesComputer proficient, able to learn company software programsAvailability to maintain an on-call schedule and/or shift workFamiliarity with building automation systems requiredThe qualified candidate will be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service-orientedProven leadership capabilityEnergy management experienceGood understanding of building mechanical systemsGood written and verbal communication skillsProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceAbility to operate an asset without direct supervisionWorking knowledge of hand and power tool operation and safetyMust satisfactorily complete a background check and drug screenWilling to carry and utilize company or emergency phone when requiredAble to speak, read and write English competentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments)Physical Requirements:- to lift, carry, pull or push 50 lbs.- climb stairs, step stools or ladders up to 2 stories high (with ladder safety training), twist, crouch, kneel or crawl frequently during the course of a dayspend extended periods of time standingbend over to pick up items from ground level, turn from side to sidewalk on even or uneven surfaces frequently during the course of a dayuse arms, wrists and hands to grasp, squeeze, manipulate or operate machinery frequently during the course of a daytolerate changes in weather and be able to complete tasks inside and outsideMake your next move an expert one and *join us *as we lead the industry into the future.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
