Job summary

Core Spaces is seeking a Centralized Maintenance Technician to support student housing communities across an assigned market. The role diagnoses and resolves complex maintenance issues, supports site teams during peak demand, and ensures safety, brand standards, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry, with the ability to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in student housing, multifamily, or high-volume service environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Experience managing competing priorities across multiple locations.
• Root-cause diagnostic skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience using work order systems (Entrata or similar).

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry systems.
• Execute work orders across multiple communities with urgency and precision.
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions to improve system reliability.
