What this job involves

This position supports the operations team by performing a range of maintenance duties throughout the facility, including lighting system upkeep, equipment repair, HVAC/R maintenance, plumbing repairs, and responding to tenant service requests. The role requires on-call availability for emergency situations and adherence to safety protocols for hazardous materials.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Maintaining lighting systems including bulb and ballast replacement
• Assisting operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair
• Performing general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning and evaporator coil cleaning
• Conducting kitchen equipment maintenance on meat grinders, cubers, meat saws, slicers, and similar equipment
• Completing minor plumbing repairs throughout the facility
• Handling special tasks including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests
• Managing the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with all policies
• Responding to after-hours emergency calls when on rotation

Desired experience and technical skills

Requirements:

• Experience with general building maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of lighting systems maintenance
• Basic plumbing repair skills
• Ability to respond to on-call emergency situations
• Understanding of safe handling procedures for hazardous materials

Preferred:

• HVAC/R maintenance experience
• Kitchen equipment repair knowledge
• Painting and locksmith skills
• Previous experience in a facilities maintenance role
• Customer service experience for handling tenant requests
