Job summary

Nextech is hiring Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technicians in Minnesota. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment for a variety of clients, often working independently with strong team support.

Expect on-call rotations, ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial food service equipment for a variety of clients.
• Work independently while backed by a support team to ensure success.
• Perform service, repair, installation, and maintenance on refrigeration and other equipment.
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate delays or changes professionally.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic work orders and documentation using a company-issued iPad.
• Answering customer questions, identify additional service needs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts for emergency service needs.
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory to the highest standards.
• Attend ongoing technical training to stay up to date with industry advancements.
• Report safety concerns and identify potential new business opportunities.
