Job summary

AutoNation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Flex Automotive Technician for a hybrid role combining in-shop repairs and mobile service. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to dealer standards, and travel to customer locations as needed. A valid license and repair experience are required.

You’ll receive factory training, OEM certification support, and opportunities for advancement within AutoNation’s nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications or technical school education preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair & maintenance: perform vehicle repairs per repair orders with accuracy.
• Diagnose and assess vehicles to determine appropriate repairs.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document work performed.
• Mobile service: travel to customer locations with a stocked van.
• Customer experience: communicate status and timelines clearly.
