Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Jacksonville and surrounding areas as a mobile hospice clinician. You will deliver compassionate end‑of‑life care in clients’ homes, focusing on comfort for pets and support for families. Availability for some weekends is required.

You’ll join a veterinarian‑led team with ongoing training, mentorship, and a culture of kindness, offering balance, independence, and meaningful patient care across the community.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the field.
• Practice medicine independently with ongoing mentorship and training.
