Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve New London, Groton, Waterford, Stonington, Norwich, Colchester, Glastonbury, Middletown, CT and surrounding areas. Join a veterinary team that values balance, purpose, and a supportive culture.

The role offers flexible 2-5 day per week schedules with mobile hospice and euthanasia care, mentorship, and a strong community of 400+ professionals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes.
• Practice veterinary medicine with purpose and maintain high professional standards.
• Engage with mentors and support staff to ensure patient- and family-centered care.

Education
