Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for in-home hospice care in Hartford, New Haven and surrounding CT areas. This role emphasizes compassionate in-home veterinary care with a focus on hospice and humane euthanasia services.

The position supports work-life balance with flexible 2–5 day schedules and opportunities to practice independently while receiving ongoing training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM/VMD/BVMS degree.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice veterinary medicine in clients' homes.
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professional standards.
