Job summary

Lap of Love is hiring a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve East Bay, CA, including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and Concord. As a mobile hospice veterinarian, you’ll deliver compassionate end-of-life care and euthanasia in clients’ homes, balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being.

You’ll join a network of 400+ veterinarians with ongoing training and mentorship, plus a comprehensive benefits package and salary opportunities described below.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Available to work some weekends and travel to home visits.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in home settings.
• Practice medicine at clients' homes while maintaining professional standards.
• Join a community of veterinarians with mentoring and support in a mobile practice.
